ESC programming

Postby martynrob » Wed Jul 01, 2009 11:09 am

I have got a Thunderbird (From Castle Creations) ESC for my powered glider motor. However, when it is gliding and I have selected zero throttle the prop keeps turning. When I run it on the ground the motor stops on zero throttle. I read the ESC instructions and you can program a brake but I am having trouble getting into the program mode. I have contacted Castle Creations and they suggest I look for someone who has a "Castle Link" that simplifies the programming. My question is "Does anyone have a Castle Link that I could borrow?" I don't want to spend $40 on something I may use only once (Yes I am cheap!)

Thanks,
Martyn

I've got Castle link, and can show you how to program with out it to. At first kind of goofy but once you do it no big deal!
